Founding AI / Reliability Engineer

SolidRPC is building reliability-first RPC infrastructure for blockchain applications.

Traditional infrastructure monitoring stops at detecting that something is broken.

We want infrastructure that can detect a problem, understand what is happening, take corrective action, verify that the fix worked, and learn from the incident.

AI-driven remediation is a core part of that vision.

We are looking for someone to help build it.

We are looking for a Founding AI / Reliability Engineer to build intelligent systems that diagnose and remediate blockchain infrastructure failures automatically.

You will work across AI, distributed systems, observability, SRE, and blockchain infrastructure.

This is not a role focused on building generic chatbots or wrapping an LLM API.

The goal is to build systems capable of making reliable operational decisions in production.

Build systems around the following loop:

Detect → Diagnose → Remediate → Verify → Learn

This can include:

• Correlating metrics, logs, traces, node status, and RPC behaviour during incidents.
• Automatically diagnosing degraded blockchain nodes or upstream providers.
• Selecting appropriate remediation actions.
• Restarting, reconfiguring, replacing, or recovering unhealthy infrastructure.
• Rerouting traffic when infrastructure becomes unreliable.
• Verifying whether remediation actually resolved the problem.
• Building guardrails around autonomous remediation.
• Developing incident knowledge and context systems for AI agents.
• Improving root-cause analysis.
• Evaluating models and agent architectures for production operations.
• Building reliable tool execution and orchestration for infrastructure agents.
• Working with blockchain client behaviour, configuration, and eventually client-level fixes.
• Turning recurring incidents into increasingly automated remediation workflows.

You are likely a strong fit if you have experience in several of these areas:

• AI agents and tool-using LLM systems.
• LLM evaluation and reliability.
• Backend engineering.
• Distributed systems.
• Site Reliability Engineering.
• Infrastructure automation.
• Kubernetes.
• Observability.
• Incident response.
• Production AI systems.

Strong software engineering ability is required.

Experience with blockchain infrastructure is useful but not mandatory if you are comfortable learning it quickly.

We are particularly interested in people who understand that autonomous infrastructure requires much more than prompting an LLM.

You should care about:

• safe execution.

When infrastructure fails, SolidRPC increasingly resolves incidents without requiring a human operator.

The system should become capable of:

• detecting failures faster;
• understanding incidents more accurately;
• choosing safe remediation actions;
• executing those actions automatically;
• confirming recovery;
• reducing repeated operational work.

Long term, we want SolidRPC's reliability layer to behave increasingly like an autonomous SRE team.

You will have the opportunity to define one of SolidRPC's core technical differentiators from an early stage.
