Founding Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer

SolidRPC is building reliability-first RPC infrastructure for blockchain applications.

Our goal is simple: RPC infrastructure should fail without the applications using it failing with it.

We combine managed blockchain infrastructure, intelligent routing, automatic failover, monitoring, and automated remediation to provide highly reliable blockchain connectivity.

We are an early-stage company, and this is one of our first engineering hires.

We are looking for a Founding Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to help build and operate the infrastructure behind SolidRPC.

You will work directly with the founders and take ownership of production blockchain infrastructure across multiple networks.

This role goes beyond running nodes. You will help design how SolidRPC deploys, monitors, scales, repairs, and automates blockchain infrastructure as the platform grows.

• Deploy and operate production blockchain nodes across multiple networks.
• Build automation for node deployment, upgrades, snapshots, recovery, and scaling.
• Improve node reliability, synchronization performance, and recovery times.
• Design monitoring and alerting specifically for blockchain infrastructure.
• Investigate RPC degradation, node failures, synchronization issues, and chain-specific incidents.
• Build automated remediation for common infrastructure failures.
• Benchmark blockchain clients, configurations, and infrastructure providers.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency and capacity planning.
• Help onboard new blockchain networks into SolidRPC.
• Participate in architecture decisions around Kubernetes, networking, observability, and infrastructure automation.
• Build systems that reduce the amount of manual operational work required as SolidRPC scales.

You are likely a strong fit if you have strong experience with:

• Linux.
• Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code.
• Terraform.
• Containers.
• Monitoring and observability.
• Cloud infrastructure.
• Production incident response.

You should also have hands-on experience operating blockchain infrastructure.

Experience with some of the following is particularly valuable:

• Ethereum and EVM networks.
• Solana.
• Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, or similar ecosystems.
• Geth, Nethermind, Reth, Erigon, Lighthouse, Prysm, or other blockchain clients.
• High-throughput RPC infrastructure.
• Archive nodes.
• Snapshots and rapid node bootstrap systems.
• Multi-region infrastructure.
• Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tooling.

You do not need to know every blockchain network we support.

We care much more about your ability to understand complex infrastructure, diagnose failures, and automate your way out of repetitive operational work.

SolidRPC can add more networks, more customers, and more traffic without infrastructure operations becoming a bottleneck.

Incidents require less manual intervention.

New networks become easier to launch.

Infrastructure becomes increasingly automated and self-healing.

You will join at a stage where major architectural decisions are still being made.

You will not be maintaining somebody else's mature platform. You will help define how SolidRPC's infrastructure works.
